Industrial steel structure building is a light house structure system with the following characteristics and components:
Main load-bearing frame: It is composed of light welded H-shaped steel, hot-rolled H-shaped steel or cold-bent thin-walled steel. These materials have good strength and rigidity and can effectively support the weight of the building.
Purlin and wall beam: Cold-bent thin-walled steel (such as C-shaped and Z-shaped) is used as purlin and wall beam. These profiles have good bearing capacity and stability and can meet the structural requirements of the building.
Roof and wall covering materials: Corrugated metal sheets (such as corrugated steel sheets and corrugated aluminum sheets) are used as roof and wall covering materials. This material has the advantages of light weight, high strength and corrosion resistance.
Thermal insulation materials: Polystyrene foam, rigid polyurethane foam, rock wool, mineral wool, glass wool, etc. are used as thermal insulation materials to improve the energy efficiency and comfort of buildings.
Support system: It includes longitudinal rigid tie rods, horizontal supports and corner braces. These support components form a spatial system together with purlins or wall beams and rigid frames, participate in spatial collaborative work, and enhance the overall stability of the structure.

Ethiopian Auto Parts Company is a large auto parts manufacturer. With the expansion of the business route and the increase in the number of molds, the original production workshop can no longer meet the demand.
On October 20, 2019, the Ethiopian Auto Parts Factory ordered a 7648m2 prefabricated steel structure production workshop and installation guide service contract from K-home for a period of 15 days.
The workshop building adopts Q355B welded H type steel, Q355B steel square tube, Q235B C-type steel, and Q235B Z type steel to combine or build framework. The roof and wall are color steel sandwich panels.
Q355B is one of low carbon alloy steel. Welded H section Q355B steel with high strength, stronger buckling resistance performance, can save 10%-15% material, 30%-40% weight of the structure in buildings, and 15%-20% weight of the structure in bridge than hot-rolled H steel. Compare to hot-rolled H steel, welded H section steel have high-accuracy size performance, can be customized. The specification is a more flexible and wide choice to meet Ethiopian clients' demands.
The guide installation service was originally scheduled to start on December 5, 2019. the K-home team was unable to travel abroad to Ethiopia. Then, with a time difference of 5 hours, the K-home team provided installation instructions to the customer's installation team via remote online methods. In the end, the prefab workshop was successfully installed and put into use in advance.
