Modern prefab eco houses provide wonderful green homes for young families
Affordable prefabricated eco-homes are a growing trend in green home construction in Southeast Asia and Africa, as you may have seen on our pages or in the media. Economies of scale, material savings, speed, and quality of construction are certain factors that are driving homebuyers to take a second look at prefab homes -- especially now that the option of Prefab Eco House is high-end sustainable, and more affordable than a conventionally built home.
Prefab Eco House's design incorporates a top-down green eco-home concept with certified credentials in sustainable materials and performance -- which makes them truly unique.
Prefabricated eco-housing designed and built by the Chinese
Here, we take a closer look at KHOME Architects' Prefab Eco House, which offers perfect living space in a single-family home with 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. This is the model KHOME co-founder Ava Liu and his team chose to build -- first for the Expo held at the Zhengzhou People's Center Stadium, and then for the first Prefab Eco House test house near Xinxiang city!
The open concept living area and wall-to-wall south-facing Windows make this smaller-than-average green home feel larger than it actually is. Downstairs, an interesting atrium ceiling draws the viewer to the distance, while the kitchen area, with built-in plants above it, has extensive island features and is ideal for entertaining.
The affordable Prefab Eco House is now both stylish and eco-friendly
The Prefab Eco House can be completed in a range of exterior colors, and the beauty of the home shown here is not a superficial expression. This prefabricated home not only exudes a cool modern style but also has a true eco-home substance.
Prefab Eco House is built with environmentally friendly, non-toxic building materials
Prefab Eco House has well-designed and energy-efficient standards, and it also provides a very healthy indoor environment, with non-toxic air and uses sustainable and natural building materials. The wall structure consists of ISO-certified wood and an external wood fiber insulation panel, which contains dense-packed cellulose insulation inside. Prefabricated homes got a bad rap last century, but it's time to rethink prefabricated homes, now known as modular homes. Modular homes now often showcase the latest green building and technology, such as net-zero emissions, solar panels, rainwater systems, and the use of recycled materials.
5 reasons Prefab Eco House is green
Prefab Eco houses (or prefab houses as they used to be called) useless waste because they are based on rigorous measurements.
Prefab Eco House has lower energy bills
The self-contained Prefab Eco House can reduce a home's energy consumption by up to 72%. Imagine if your energy bill was cut by nearly three-quarters.
Self-contained Prefab Eco houses are usually powered by solar panels, so they reduce energy demand on the regular grid. In addition, homeowners can opt for energy cells that store excess solar energy. This allows a home to use only solar-generated electricity by using stored energy overnight. In addition, some Prefab Eco Houses can sell excess solar energy back to the main grid.
Finally, modular homes often use low-energy light bulbs, such as LEDs or CFLs, which are more energy-efficient and durable.
Better insulation can reduce energy bills. Homeowners can install cladding made from cost-effective composite panels that can significantly improve insulation, or add double glazing and doors. Not only do they reduce energy consumption, but they also improve indoor acoustics and reduce noise pollution.
Prefab Eco House is more water-efficient
Water conservation is another reason why self-contained modular homes are greener. Solar water heating systems can provide up to 90% of a home's hot water, thereby reducing the energy consumption of heating water in the home.
In addition, these Prefab Eco houses are often designed to reduce heat loss from pipes by bringing together areas that require water, such as bathrooms and kitchens. This design means shorter water pipes and reduced heat loss.
Use solar panels, better insulation, and a range of sustainable materials to reduce your energy bills
Healthy Prefab Eco House
Prefab Eco houses typically have higher sustainability standards than ordinary homes, focus on clean and green energy, and use non-toxic materials. (Some traditional building and cleaning materials, such as POLYvinyl chloride cement, refrigerators, and some plywood contain volatile organic compounds, which release chemicals into the air that are thought to have adverse health effects). Some Prefab Eco houses can even come complete with ecological additions such as green or wildflower roofs.
Prefab Eco House uses sustainable materials
Prefab Eco Houses typically use the latest recycled construction materials to construct interior walls, insulation, and roofs.
