How much does a metal container cost to build?
The cost of metal container house will be varied from different designs, material selection and required total quantity. In general, our standard size of movable container house is 5950*3000*2800mm (L*W*H) per unit. And each 40'HQ shipping container can load 11 units of standard size. Thus calculated based on the 11 units, then the estimated FOB price of each standard size unit is $2,400 more or less. If you change the standard material configuration or the total quantity, then the unit price will be changed also.  
The unit price includes the price of one door, two windows, ceiling, floor, and basic electricity such as socket, switch, lamp and electric wires. If you need the internal partition room, the cost will be a little bit higher because there will be extra wall panels, and we will also add customized flashing for you, making the appearance beautiful. 

How long do container homes last?
The design service life of the prefabricated container house is about 15-20 years. Its actual lifespan depends on your local environment and using condition. 
If you want to make it last longer, we can also upgrade the material for you. For example, the wall material we usually use is 50mm rock wool sandwich panel with double 0.4mm galvanized steel plate. The more options include 75mm thickness and thicker galvanized steel plate such as 0.5mm, 0.6mm, and 0.7mm, etc.  
For the floor board, we also have other options. If it's rainy in your area, we can replace the MGO board to cement fiber board. It has better performance on the moisture proof and waterproof. Besides, we can also provide the aluminum steel plate to use above the floor board. In this way, if you use the portable container as the toilet or public shower room. The aluminum steel plate will prevent the floor board from break. And the aluminum plate is easy to clean and will not to rust. 


Difference between Fast Assembly Container Houses with Flat Pack Container House
The biggest difference between fast assembly houses with flat pack container house is that their roof structure and floor structure are also disassembled before transportation. In this way, it will provide the following benefit for you.
1. Saving your transportation cost. The fast assembly container house can be loaded for 11 units of standard size 5950*2800*3000mm (L*W*H) in one 40'HQ shipping container. If the total cargo quantity is more than hundreds, then the loading capacity is larger and can even achieve about 15 units in one shipping container. While the flat pack container can only load for 6-8 units in one shipping container. Different loading capacity will cause a big difference on the shipping cost.
2. Shorter delivery time. The roof structure and floor structure of the flat pack house are welded in the factory. So the production time will be longer. For the fast assembly portable container, after all the components are produced, we can arrange the delivery immediately. 
3. Flexible Size. Since the flat pack container house is loaded in the shipping container as a whole, so its width cannot beyond the internal height of the shipping container. But for the fast assembly container house, since all its components are loaded in the shipping container loosely, its size can be customized, no need to consider the internal size of the transportation equipment.
