After the earthquake in Sichuan Province, the government invested in the construction of the campus of Yanmen Central
School in response to the massive damage to buildings, the serious shortage of schools, and the lack of students to go to
school. The school was officially completed and put into use in August 2008. This is the first semi-permanent school reconstructed
after the disaster. The building has a life cycle of 50 years and the building standards exceed the pre-earthquake level.

This school is made of 171 container modules, most of the buildings are 2 stories, with a total construction area of 3000 m2,
including 22 classrooms of 60 m2 and some functional rooms such as teacher offices, dormitories, restaurants, etc., which
can solve the study of 1,100 students And life needs.
The height of the container is 2.8 meters, the length is about 6 meters, and the width is about 3 meters. The school took only
three months from selection, design, planning, production, transportation to assembly. The transportation of containers and
various material components used more than 70 trucks, and the on-site assembly of the containers took only one month.
